
This advanced course will provide therapists, psychologists and counselors with the nuanced insights and knowledge they need to more accurately distinguish between ADHD, Autism, Mood Disorders, and Borderline Personality Disorders in their clinical practice setting. Designed to be a deep dive into detailed diagnostic specificity, this course will empower Master’s level clinicians and above to be more confident and competent in their differential diagnostic practices.
Learning Objectives
After this course ...
Participants will apply knowledge gained through this course to improve their differential diagnostic accuracy when assessing clients for mood disorders, borderline personality disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and autism.
Participants will be able to differentiate and distinguish between a wide variety of nuanced symptom presentations and make more accurate diagnoses based on DSM 5 criteria and up-to-date research.
Participants will have the skills to justify their diagnoses based on symptom presentations described by their clients which will be accurately evaluated to determine which, if any DSM 5 criteria is fully met.

Noelle Lynn is a licensed clinical social worker and ADHD, Trauma and Neurodivergence specialist. She is passionate about differential diagnostics in clinical practice and believes it can make all the difference in clients receiving effective and life-changing treatment. Noelle regularly presents on differential diagnostics, ADHD, trauma, EMDR and more at conferences, universities, continuing education programming and in online training. In her clinical practice, Noelle works specifically with those who have ADHD and co-occurring disorders, most often complex PTSD. Noelle offers a wide range of trainings, as well as group and individual consultations.

Course Completion
Social workers must pass the posttest with 80% in 3 attempts to be eligible for CE credit.
